arrival day | check-in and take in local sights on your own time, enjoy the beach, get plenty of rest before the adventure begins.
day 1 | Private Fishing Charter (full day) + Ceviche Lesson
-pick up at 7am at Chiringuitos in Playa Tamarindo
-meet crew and captain on boat and head out to their best spots, based on previous catch, current fishing reports, + sea conditions
-enjoy beers and refreshments, lunch, fresh fruit, + snacks
-let the crew show you how to make some ceviche with your fresh catch on board + enjoy!
-return around 4pm to Playa Tamarindo
-drop off around 5pm

day 2 | Private Fishing Charter (optional) + Private Chef Dining Experience
AM | Fishing Charter:
-same itinerary as above if opting for day 2 private fishing charter
PM | Private DInner:
-chef + assistant will arrive at your private accomodation around 5-5:30pm for meal prep (you will select your dinner menu after your booking confirmation)
-enjoy a 3-course gourmet dinner using fresh local ingredients + your fresh catch
-dinner will wrap up around 10pm

day 3 | Spearfishing Course + Excursion
-pick up at accomodation 7am
-drive to Flamingo Marina
-meet instructors for lesson on diving techniques, spear gun handling, fish identification, tracking
-pool instruction
-get fitted for gear
-head out to designated fishing spots
-enjoy fresh fruit and refreshments
-return to Flamingo Marina
-drop off around 2pm
day 4 | AM Private Surf Lessons/Beach Day + Sunset Catamaran Cruise
AM | Private Surf Lesson:
-depending on tide times you will meet your instructor at Tamarindo beach for a 2hr private surf lesson (unless you have organized an excursion to a neighboring beach, additional fees apply)
-start off with a land lesson, learn water safety + practice surf techniques
-when you are comfortable you and your instructor will head to the water to practice your surf skills on the waves!
-after your surf lesson, take an hour to enjoy the beach, sunbathe, grab a drink, take a leisurely swim, this is your time indulge and relax

PM | Sunset Catamaran: (shared; for private rental please contact us for pricing)
-meet at 1pm Chiringuitos in Playa Tamarindo
-board catamaran 1:15pm
-enjoy light meal and open bar while you sail along the Guanacaste coastline
-enjoy snorkeling in secluded bay and sunset during your return to Tamarindo Bay
-drop off around 6pm

To enjoy sport fishing in Costa Rica you must acquire a sport fishing card issued by the Costa Rican government. You are responsible for obtaining your fishing license. The cost is approximately $17.
